A. Single or multiple motor and/or vocal tics B. Tics have been present for <1 year since first tic onset C. Onset before age 18
A. Repetitive, seemingly driven, and apparently purposeless motor behaviour (e.g. hand shaking/waving, body rocking, head banging, self-biting, hitting own body) B. Interferes with social, academic, or other activities and may result in self-injury C. Onset in the early developmental period
Motor tics only; Vocal tics only; Motor and vocal tics
With self-injurious behaviour; Without self-injurious behaviour; Associated with a known medical or genetic condition; Mild
Tourette's disorder or persistent tic disorder (>1 year - reclassify); Stereotypic movement disorder; Medication-induced movement disorder
Tic disorders (sudden, rapid, brief; premonitory urge; suppressible with effort; wax and wane); OCD (ego-dystonic; anxiety-driven compulsions; not rhythmic); ASD (may coexist - code separately if ID criterion met independently)
