- A. Prominent anxiety, panic attacks, or obsessions/compulsions directly attributable to physiological effects of another medical condition
- B. Not better explained by another mental disorder
- C. Not occurring exclusively during delirium
- D. Clinically significant distress or impairment

- Which documented criteria and exclusions are met for each possibility?
- What timeline, course, and functional change best distinguishes the alternatives?
- Are substance, medication, medical, developmental, and contextual explanations adequately assessed?
