Consistent with [Developmental Coordination Disorder] [specifier(s)]. Since early childhood, there have been marked difficulties acquiring and executing coordinated motor skills including clumsiness; dropping or bumping into objects; slow or inaccurate performance of motor tasks such as catching objects, using scissors or cutlery, handwriting, cycling, or participating in sports, forming a pattern of motor skill performance substantially below that expected for chronological age and learning opportunity. The presentation is further characterised by motor difficulties that significantly and persistently interfere with activities of daily living, academic productivity, vocational tasks, or recreational participation, with a developmental onset and a stable, non-episodic course. These difficulties have resulted in clinically significant impairment in personal, academic, occupational, or social functioning, and the pattern is not better explained by intellectual disability, visual impairment, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, degenerative neurological disease, or another medical or neurological condition.
