Consistent with [Schizophreniform Disorder] [specifier(s)]. Over at least one month but less than six months, there have been delusions; hallucinations; disorganised speech; grossly disorganised behaviour; catatonic features; negative symptoms, forming a pattern consistent with a brief schizophrenia-spectrum episode. The presentation is further characterised by deterioration in role functioning; social withdrawal; affective flattening or blunting; cognitive disorganisation, aligning with a time-limited psychotic syndrome. These symptoms have resulted in clinically significant distress or impairment, and the total disturbance has persisted for less than six months. The condition is not better explained by schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, mood disorders with psychotic features, substance/medication effects, or a primary medical or neurological condition.
