Consistent with [Neurocognitive Disorder Due to Parkinson's Disease] [specifier(s)]. In the context of established Parkinson's disease, there have been impairments in attention; impairments in executive functioning; impairments in learning and memory; impairments in language; impairments in perceptual-motor abilities; impairments in social cognition, forming a pattern meeting the threshold for a neurocognitive disorder. The presentation is further characterised by motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease preceding the onset of cognitive decline; a gradual progression of cognitive impairment; cognitive deficits attributable to the neurodegenerative process rather than medication effects or another cause. These symptoms have resulted in clinically significant impairment in social, occupational, or adaptive functioning, with the disturbance not occurring exclusively during delirium.
