Consistent with [Rumination Disorder]. Over at least one month, there has been repeated regurgitation of recently ingested food; effortless re-chewing of regurgitated material; re-swallowing; spitting out, forming a consistent behavioural pattern. The presentation is further characterised by behaviour not attributable to gastrointestinal or other medical conditions and not occurring exclusively during anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, or avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder. These symptoms have resulted in clinically significant distress or impairment, and the picture is not better accounted for by another mental disorder.
